The Great American Road Trip is on!

We spent ~6 hours on the first day driving the packed Family Truckster from Seattle to Florence, Oregon.  Once we cleared Portland, the rain stopped and the skies cleared, HALLALUAH!  Haven’t seen a cloud since then.

Being a family of 6, we are a mobile party!  We took over the pool at the hotel in Florence, made it into a whirlpool, and then got a game of Sharks and Minnows going.  Woke up to clear blue skies today and just felt like driving.  So instead of spending a lazy day in Florence, we drove to North Bend and played on the dunes in a Side-by-Side and ATVs.  AMAZING sand dunes!  Just one big sand box.  We then took off south down 101, experiencing some amazing views along the southern Oregon coast.  After a stop at a beach for a quick walk, we’ve arrived in Crescent City, CALI-FORN-I-A!
