First Chemo Round Completed!

Good Morning All!

Kira has completed her first round of chemo (each round is a 21 day cycle) and she is doing great.  Most of her symptoms have cleared up - no more itching, hardly any coughing, no shortness of breath - but she still is tired and that is to be expected.  She has such a beautiful smile and sports the no hair look like a model.  We are so proud of her strength through all this.  The most exciting thing is that she went to school yesterday!  It was purely social!!!  :)  One of her teachers (who shall remain nameless) told her "Not to worry, you have probably learned more at home than you would have being here!"  It was great for her to see her buds.

We start Round 2 tomorrow - off to the doctor this morning for a  pre-op appointment.  She will be in the hospital from Thursday thru Saturday - unless she is too ill to go home - then they will keep her until that passes.

My favorite sister Nancy :-) and amazing friend Nicole have put together a website for dinner delivery and a website for kid taxi and horse chores.
Dinners: http://www.takethemameal.com -enter “Hanson” as the last name and the password is 1485.
Kid Taxi/Horse chores: https://lls.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/646341/ (contact: nancyamorris1@comcast.net for membership).

Thanks for your prayers and support!
